Are you just getting started with surfing? We got you covered! Join our surf classes in Cancun and learn to surf with a certified instructor in the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea.

Our 1.5-hour surf class is perfect for beginners. Our certified surf instructors will follow you in the water, help you learn the basics of surfing, and improve your surfing technique at your own pace. 

This surf class starts with a theoretical lesson on the sand (10 minutes) to help you familiarize yourself with the surfboard and perfect your surfing stance. Then, you’ll start a practical class in the water, where you’ll put into practice what you have learned—always accompanied by a certified expert. Classes are held at the Hotel Ocean Dream, located just 5.5 miles from the hotel zone. 

This area is one of the best surf spots in Cancun as it has the perfect size of waves for beginners!

  • Certified bilingual instructor (1 instructor every 3 people)
  • Surfing rash guard (long-sleeved shirt)

Location: Hotel Ocean Dream (Blvd. Kukulcan KM 9.5, Punta Cancun, Zona Hotelera, 77500 Cancún, Q.R., Mexico). The hotel has a parking lot, bathrooms, showers, a restaurant, and a beach club

Hours: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. OR 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

FAQ’s

A1: No, you don’t need any prior surfing experience to take our surf lessons. Our classes are for beginners.

A2: Our surf classes are for both kids (from 4 years old) and adults.

A3: Our single surf class is 1.5 hours. 

A4: No, Highlifemexico will provide you with all the necessary equipment, including a surfboard, leash, rash guard, and life jacket.

A5: Our surf classes have a maximum of 10 people.

A6: Our professional surf instructors are all certified lifeguards. They will follow you everywhere in the water. Life jackets are available upon request. The class will take place only in ideal conditions. 

A7: If the weather conditions are not suitable for surfing, we will reschedule your surfing class. If you cannot change the date of your class, you will get your money back.

A9: No. Transportation is not provided. However, there is plenty of parking in the area. 

A10: Bring your swimwear, a towel, and sunscreen. We will provide rash guards!
